Leadership in Continuous Improvement

About the course

This exciting and innovative lean programme sets out to help individuals become better leaders on their continuous improvement journeys.

It explores 4 key elements of effective change along the journey, including:

  • Self actualisation
  • Humanistic and encouragement
  • Affiliative - to ensure people feel that they truly belong and are a valued member of the team.

It achieves this through blending a range of lean performance improvement tools & techniques with the very latest thinking from psychologists who are involved in pursuit of best practice in performance improvement.

Also, it is designed to be highly participative and measurable and runs over seven days -  split into the following 2 key modules:

  • 1 (2 days) – Focus on Lean Culture and development of self
  • 2 (2 days) – Focus on development of a team
  • Note - there is a single day (day 5) set aside for "one-to-one" feedback with the Pacific Institute. This session will take place between session 1&2

After each module, there is a two week break prior to the next session for reflection and homework. There is a final, one-day session for a course review and summary. [Note] - there will be a maximum of 10 people per course.
