e-Sensei Lean Practitioner Online Training

LERC has teamed up with lean experts, Simpler Training, to offer accredited lean practitioner training with a brand new course known as the e-Sensei Lean Improvement Training Programme.

This “hands on” lean training programme will help advance you or your staff’s leadership and process improvement skills, whist delivering bottom line results.  The course is delivered online and includes live tutorials and participants will receive a valuable personal Lean Competency System certificate at level 1c.

esensei logoSimpler is Europe's leading specialist in lean process improvements for all types of organisations. They have developed a powerful, simple, systematic approach to Lean Business Transformation.  Simpler have worked with LERC as their development partner in the accreditation of e-Sensei to provide LCS certification through their online lean practitioner programme.

As well as being certified by LERC, lean specialists from LERC will be supporting Simpler and presenting sections during the Lean Practitioner Training course.

Suitability

The course is designed for all business types and sizes and experience is not necessary, just a desire to improve your knowledge and business performance. Our experience is that the benefits gained from the application of lean knowledge will more than cover the cost of the training.

Course Topics

The course will cover the following topics:

  • The fundamentals of lean processes
  • Effective team management in a lean environment
  • A3 thinking (simple problem solving and improvement methodology)
  • The Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) cycle
  • How to see, map and remove waste
  • Problem solving and corrective action

Course Delivery

The online course is delivered over 8 weekly modules and consists of web based self study e-learning modules and live webinars.  The 8 live webinar tutorials are facilitated and delivered by lean experts (the 'Sensei') from Simpler and LERC. Note that new courses will start on a regular basis.

The module content is split between theory, practical application, feedback, and improvement. The key practical sessions are called Rapid Improvement Events (RIE's) during which you will implement your learning in your business using real projects. You will then receive feedback and guidance from your e-Sensei.

During your theory sessions you will investigate lean tools, techniques and approaches including A3 thinking, Pareto analysis, Current State analysis, lean team leadership and much more.
