Lean Product Design & Development
A two day seminar with one of the world’s leading experts, Ron Mascitelli
It has been said, by Schonberger, that Design is the foundation of Lean. When a product hits the factory floor much waste is already built in or committed.
Ron Mascitelli is without doubt amongst the leading authorities in the world on Lean Design. He has written three excellent books on the topic and presents a regular one-day Lean Design course at AME conference. The course is always over-subscribed.
Readers of The Lean Toolbox, from 2nd to 4th edition, will have come across several references to Ron’s work in the book. I have known Ron for about 10 years, read his books, and attended his seminars. Excellent. He has a refreshingly different approach to Lean Design, working outside of automotive. You may be familiar with the Toyota version of Lean Design, as spoken about by Ward, Liker, and others – but most people are not in automotive design, so a different perspective is valuable.
This two day seminar is Ron’s first in the UK, and one of only a few that he has run outside of USA and Germany. Not to be missed!
